As the only facility offering Midwifery services on the Westbank, we take pride in empowering you to choose the type of birthing experience that is comfortable and convenient for your lifestyle. While today’s mom’s-to-be have more options than ever before, our Certified Nurse Midwives are advanced Nurse Practitioners who advocate for you. Whether you choose a natural childbirth or water childbirth, our extraordinary nurse midwives are your partners in the various stages of pregnancy, labor, birth and the post-partum period. We support all birth options and if needed, we also offer doula services too.

At West Jefferson Medical Center, our certified nurse midwives are experts in supporting moms-to be with the following services:

• Individualized education in prenatal care, labor and delivery, and post-partum support
• A birth plan unique to each patient, which may include natural or epidural births
• Prenatal visits
